The month of December is busy for everyone and at a Catholic High School December is the beginning of Advent, the celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and Paraclete’s multicultural Christmas program

This multicultural program brings together both the spiritual and secular aspects of Christmas.  Students whole-heartedly engage in intricate ethnic dances to celebrate the coming of Christ. This year we will feature Asian, Hispanic, Irish and African Dancers.  Paraclete feels it is important to honor the rich heritages that make the United States such a remarkable country.  What is unique about this celebration is that no student has to be a member of a certain ethnic group to dance an ethnic dance.  The only requirement is to want to praise God through body movements.  Students will get a firsthand experience on how other cultures celebrate the birth of the Christ child.  Christmas is about unity not about separation, come join us this Friday, December 9th, for our annual Multicultural celebration at Paraclete High School. The mass starts at approximately 11:30 in the Paraclete gymnasium and will last about an hour.
