
The MAX LA Team is tasked to implement the goals of the MAX LA marketing program. Our team is comprised of individuals who are passionate about increasing enrollment at our Catholic schools: Elementary School Principals, High School Marketing Directors, DCS Staff and Consultants. In 2010 we formed a strategic partnership with our associates from Loyola Marymount University, Center for Catholic Education, who have enhanced our marketing outreach efforts and provide world-class research capability.
The MAX LA Team works collaboratively with the 230 elementary and high schools throughout the archdiocese. We do this by providing marketing training sessions (CMTTs) four times monthly for all elementary school marketing team members who are comprised of principals, faculty/staff, parents, parishioners, alumni, etc. Additionally, each archdiocesan and parish high school has a full time Director of Marketing who works collaboratively with the MAX LA Team on their marketing outreach strategies.
Currently, there are over 2,000 individuals throughout the three county archdiocese (Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara) who have started a wave of energy and enthusiasm, leading their schools with innovative grass roots strategies and initiatives in an effort to increase their school’s enrollment. Most importantly, people are excited about Catholic education!
The MAX LA team created, developed and implemented these three key marketing initiatives to help promote our Catholic schools:
1) Building and mentoring grass roots marketing teams and elementary school marketing team leaders and high school marketing directors to increase enrollments at all Catholic schools through monthly Creative Marketing Think Tank (CMTT) meetings.
2) Developing and providing resources, such as the 10-Step Marketing and Public Relations Strategic Plan and Template to train these 2,000 devoted and hard-working marketing team members throughout the Archdiocese
3) Developing and implementing targeted marketing (Vision 360 ) assistance for schools
Now in our second full year of training our invigorated new marketing teams, MAX LA has begun a two-tier system along with the VISION 360, TIER I: INNOVATORS and TIER II: PIONEERS! Schools that have shown dedication and creativity are now offered opportunities to apply for marketing grant money and in-kind services. It is our hope that schools take the training opportunities and resource materials and run with them, truly making these ideas their own. If we all pitch in and contribute, we can keep our schools vibrant and filled with energy to educate our students throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles!
