Ministry
Catholic high schools and elementary schools offer numerous ministerial opportunities to help build and strengthen students’ relationship with God and with one another.
Students are encouraged to join faith-based activities, organizations, and outreach efforts to actively contribute to forming a campus community of hope, love, and charity in keeping with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The array of choices varies by school but may include altar serving, music ministry, liturgy choir, spiritual retreats, Christian service, Mass lectoring, liturgy planning, food and clothing drives, and prayer groups.
They also develop a deeper understanding of Catholic social teachings and the responsibility we each have to the greater world in living out the gospel values.
Through faith ministry, students gain new perspectives and develop compassion for the most vulnerable members of their communities.
Please consult each school’s website for more information about student ministry opportunities.
